The sessions are run by "Activity for Sheffield" and comprise an aerobics/chairobics session for the over 50s.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those in this age bracket to benefit from expert leadership and regular gentle exercise. The sessions will be catered to the group's individual needs. Just turn up and take part.

Bowling Section

Bowling on a Friday evening is a very social occasion. It is very much for pleasure, relaxation and fun, with the emphasis being on 'fun'. Our sessions are held in the main hall of Hallam Community Hall.

We play on large indoor mats stretching the full length of the hall and woods of various sizes and weights are provided. Don't worry if you've never played before because that's how many of the present players started.

Any new members would be made most welcome, so if you are interested and would like to know more then please contact Ken or Jane for details.

Winter:- Indoors in the Community Hall 7 pm start

Summer:- Outdoors (weather permitting) at the Whiteley Woods Bowling Green from 6.45 pm

We always aim to finish around 9.30 pm which leaves sufficient time for those members who wish to round the evening off with a visit to one of the local hostelries.
