Football
Hallam Rangers have changed their name to Hallam and Redmires Rangers and, although
no longer part of the Community Association, we welcome the chance to advertise
the opportunities they are providing for local youngsters.
They operate
12 boys teams from U8 to U16, and also a girls team. All their matches ore now
played on the pitches behind The Sportsman on Redmires Road. Matches are usually
held at 11 am or 2 pm, so please come along and support them.

Rambling
Why not join our relaxed friendly group of walkers! We walk about once per month,
always on a Sunday, and normally cover a distance of 8 to 10 miles. We start
between 10 am and 11 am and finish about 4 to 6 hours later. Regular coffee
and lunch stops are a feature and we have even been known to visit a nearby
pub.
If you'd like
to go on one of the walks it would be a good idea to phone the leaders beforehand
and confirm details. We'd be delighted to see some new faces.
Our Autumn 2006 programme follows:-
Sunday 17th September - Circular Walk: Black Roacks/Bonsall/Slayley/Via Gelia/Black Rocks
Sunday 22nd October - Circular Walk: Hope/The Noe Valley/Edale End/Win Hill/Hope
