| 1st October | 6.7 miles | John & Karen | Start: Car park by the Sportsman pub, what3words: range.wiped.leads Route: A walk down to the Rivelin dams and then up towards the headstone and conduit path - over the hill to Redmires and a walk around the reservoirs before returning to the car park and a total ascent of roughly 700 feet - we could could the later stage short if it was raining by coming back along the road. |

| 8th October | 4½ miles | Derek | Start: The junction of The Dale and School Lane in Hathersage, at the bottom of the short steep road to the church, what3words: bundles.copying.heartless Route: Park on The Dale as far down as you can and walk down the rest of the way. We go north from the church towards Stanage Edge. Turn westwards just before the road that runs below Stanage Edge and return to Hathersage via Gatehouse and Nether Hurst. About 4½ miles on very good going apart from some stepping stones where a stick might be handy. Gentle apart from one steep uphill road after which we'll have a rest. Then one lunch stop after that. |
