Bridge
The Bridge Section meets in Hallam Community Hall on Wednesday evenings.
To help run things smoothly, players must arrive by 7.15 pm so that a prompt
start to play can be made at 7.25 pm. We finish by 10.30 pm. Members who attend
without a partner are assured of a game as there are four stewards in attendance.
We play duplicate bridge and there is a good standard of play. There is a 70p
charge per session. Tea or coffee is served in the middle of the evening. Smoking
is not permitted before the coffee break.
It helps to have a partner, but if you haven't, give me a ring beforehand and
I'll try and fix you up! We are a friendly bunch of people so if you fancy a
game of bridge why not come along and meet us? New members are always needed.
